Precision made by Dan Sullivan and Wyatt Mitchell in Chicago IL. Inspired by classic Japanese neck-through guitars of the 70s, this guitar starts there. Next, carefully selected wood blanks are milled, laminated, carved and hand-assembled. There are no short cuts through fretting, sanding, finishing, dressing and tuning, resulting in a beautifully playing electric guitar for the modern guitarist. Included is a gig bag and guaranteed high levels of quality, both unique and chic.
Looking for a unique guitar? Look toward Melbourne Australia. This dreadnought features a solid Bunyan top and solid Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. Honestly, we're not that familiar with these woods but the guitar sings, so we don't ask questions! The fretboard and bridge are made of She Oak, and the Queensland maple neck rounds out the wood selection. Cole Clark prides itself in using sustainable bAustralian woods and we like that! The top and back are carved, almost certainly for ideal tonal and resonant characteristics. Cole Clark's original pick up sounds great through and amp as well. Includes the original hard case. Pedigree? How about Jack Johnson, who’s played a Cole Clark for over 20 years.
Retro, pro! This beautiful 1964 Jersey-made blondie features the original Franz single-coil pickup, wooden bridge and pick guard. She’s now outfitted with a new tail piece, knobs, Guild tuners and bone nut. Originally a dark burst finish, this “Slim Jim” (Jane?) was ailing a bit so we stripped and re-sprayed. Maple au natural, a good look and all! Included is a new Guild hard case for the guitar’s best beauty sleep, when she’s not retro-serenading in modern times. Serial number 38107, born in Hoboken, NJ, USA.
One fine resonator at one fine deal! This one has an added pick up and isn’t in perfect shape, but she still looks good and nice. Growlin' good, this Beard has Tones of Gold. Resonators rock, roll with this and you'll feel the Reso-Rumble. Sale includes a gig bag and a slide, just for fun.
Guild deal, great deal! We got this 1992 Rhode Island-produced Guild with a broken headstock but put our guys to work on fixing it proper, and she came out great! Solid spruce top, with solid mahogany sides and an arched back, this is a pre-Fender Guild made with the Westerly RI touch. We added the wood engraved truss rod cover and a sale includes a new Guild premium gig bag. This guitar originally had a pickup in it but it has long been removed. The saddle slot is deeper as a result and the guitar could be fitted with an under-saddle pickup without too much difficulty.
Serial Number CF003199
Solid Sitka spruce, solid Indian rosewood. Hand carved bracing in the classic X-pattern. Super cool headstock inlay. Includes a pick-up. Set up and dialed in. Includes a hard case. Check the pricing, this guitar sells new for $1150. This might be the best deal in the shop!
If you can't quite afford a vintage 60s Epiphone, go for a 90s Korean, made at the esteemed Peerless factory. These are solid! The Casino--one time guitars of John, Paul and George, and Keith Richards. What more do you need? A hollow slim body (light!) with 2 P90s. We love this guitar and you will too, with the original hard case. Ours dates to 1997 and is a natural blonde beauty. Korean Casinos in this condition are selling for $1400 or $1500 on Reverb so snap this up while it lasts, it's a deal! (Please note, Harley Davidson motorcycle sold separately.)
FSC-certified with the blessings of Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, this deep-bodied parlor was inspired in part by his first Martin guitar, and the Late Great(s) Woody Guthrie. (Listen about it here!) Mr. Tweedy has signed the inner label of this all solid-mahogany beauty, and it’s out of production. Only in production for two years, ours is #502 and like new, with a hard case of course.
For 10 years starting in 1959, Epiphone made the delightful Cortez in Kalamazoo, MI, with basically the same specs as the Gibson B-25. Ours has had a little repair work but is in remarkable shape for the price, compare that to Reverb and Ebay! But better, come and play this lovely smaller-bodied mahogany and spruce guitar. With the original case AND a modern hard-shell, all under $2k.
A piece of Americana history! This beautiful 1960s Kay is minty fresh! She was in great condition when we found her, and we’ve given her a little more love with a full fret level and set up. We’ve even got the original case! Come and play this retro-beauty. Kay-rrific!
Modeled after the last guitar the late great Little Italy, New York City-based John D'Angelico ever built, this spruce topped and maple backed round hole arch top is all class. This is one of the nicest guitars in the shop, as well as the best deal around. Includes a D'Angelico hardshell case.
This is a great find! A very rare emerald green Guild D25, solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. This also was one of the last Guild American-made guitars to come out of the fabled Westerly Rhode Island factory. This is a used guitar and the body isn’t perfect, but it plays and sounds beautifully after our custom setup. There doesn’t seem to be an emerald green Guild acoustic on the market, so this is a rare one indeed! Price includes a premium gig bag and complimentary set-up at any time.
1960s style with a custom ebony pickguard. One of a kind throwback to the days of USA mail-order glory. Solid birch, refurbished and set up for some vintage picking.
The cream of the Taylor crop! Compare this guitar new at $3100, this solid spruce and solid rosewood beauty is basically in new condition. Grand auditorium (think classical guitar body size) with a Venetian cut-away, this is outfitted with Taylor's Expression 2 electronics and pick up. We've set it up for the best playbility, and a sale includes a comp set-up anytime as well. With the original hard case, this combo is clean as a whistle. Take advantage of a great price while it lasts! Warranted through the shop for 4 years, with the exception of strings. But if you break a string or two, we got you covered. ;)
