Our most popular selling make, Guild has been in the shop for a few years now and the response has been phenomenal! We started with their line of arch-backs deemed the Westerly Collection, after the Rhode Island factory location from 1966 until the end of twentieth century. We then raised the bar to include the 120 line of all-solid mahogany acoustics, several of their eye and ear-catching electrics, and the American designed and made D40 all-solid mahogany and spruce. We’re very proud to be the biggest Guild dealer (at least we think so) in Brooklyn!
A close replica of one of Guild’s early dreadnought and arguably what Guild is most famous for, the all-solid mahogany dreadnoughts. Solid mahogany top paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The mahogany sound—dark and rich, mellow but still plenty of power. You will like this guitar. Actually, you will love this guitar.
Another great USA-made Guild, the famous “Nick Drake” guitar! All solid mahogany top, all solid mahogany back and sides. All solid build, all solid guitar! We usually stock both the vintage sunburst and natural finishes.
Cherry burst! Guild’s D140 features a classic pairing—a solid Sitka spruce top with solid African mahogany back and sides. Includes the premium Guild gig bag.
Guild’s 120 line features throwback designs that originated in the Westely, Rhode Island factory. And of course, all-solid African mahogany. A solid top of course paired with solid back and sides. The 120 series is Guild’s most affordable all-solid wood guitars. This is Guild’s classic dreadnought, all solid mahogany. With matching poly foam case.
All mahogany! Solid mahogany! From the Westerly collection the orchestra body shape is our most popular guitar, slightly bigger than parlor-sized and slightly smaller than the dreadnaught. Solid mahogany top, solid mahogany back and sides. As you might be able to tell, we love mahogany! Includes a matching poly foam case.
Guild’s concert-sized all solid mahogany guitar, sometimes referred to as parlor-sized. This small guitar also features Guild’s pickup-system with two “hidden” dials just under the sound hole, for volume and tone. Includes a heavily padded Guild-embroidered gig bag.
A 12-string jumbo? Yes please! Add an arched maple back and solid spruce top, at a price just in under $500, and we are sold. You should be too! Includes matching gig bag.
The Guild A-20 Marley Acoustic Guitar is based on his famous at-home Guild Madeira, a guitar he turned to again and again to pen some of his most heartfelt, classic songs. The A-20 has been designed stem to stern for playability, response, and stellar sound. It features a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides for full, rich tone and robust projection — ideal for songwriters who like to explore melody and meaningful message. A smooth "C"-shaped mahogany neck with pau ferro fingerboard and a friendly 25.5-inch scale offers wonderful playability and response as well. Finally, a genuine bone nut and saddle enhance the resonance and sustain on this gorgeous instrument. An amazingly playable instrument with great tone; it also comes with a gig bag, picks and even a poster!
Guild’s signature arch back guitar, this beauty features (of course) a solid spruce top and mahogany sides, with an arched back. Complete with a bone nut and saddle, the E suffix indicates Guild’s AP-1 pick-up, with a hidden sound-hole mounted volume and tone control. A fabulous guitar from Guild’s Westerly collection.
Guild’s second smallest of the Westerly collection and their true “parlor” guitar is one of our favorites. A compact 24 3/4” scale, bone nut and saddle, and (of course) a solid spruce top with the signature mahogany arched back.
Inspired by historic Guild electric shapes, the Surfliner features Guild’s Littlebucker pickup with two DeArmond single coils, all controlled by switches for 7 sound/tone configurations. A longer scale neck on par with a Strat or Tele (25.5”) allows for a louder, clear tone, if you hear it! Or maybe just feel it. Or both…come here here.
Our favorite Guild electric, the T-50 Slim rocks a Franz P90 single coil and ultra stylish Guild harp tailpiece and vintage logo pick guard. The vintage sunburst finish and 1 3/4” slim body (it is the T-50 Slim) make this one of the easiest playing and gorgeous looking electric guitars around.
Made in the USA in Guild’s Oxnard California factory! This all-solid tone wood dreadnaught features a solid sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, with specially designed scalloped sitka spruce bracing. A beautifully subtle satin varnish finish helps this guitar look as good as it sounds. We generally stock this in both the straight acoustic model, and the acoustic-electric model, with a premium L.R. Baggs pick-up and a discreet volume and tone control under the sound hole.
Other specs include a mahogany C-profile neck, 12” radius, Indian rosewood fingerboard, 25.6” bone nut and compensated saddle, 1.692” nut width and Guild “vintage style” 20:1 tuning machines. This is one of Guild’s finest acoustic guitars in production.
